Funday Times - A Poem for the week

My grandmother
By Rashmi Rathnayake (14 years) Pushpadana Girls' College, Kandy.

My grandmother is small and nice,
She has a fair, a bit wrinkled face,
She always wears sarees and all,
But never does she wear jeans or shorts.

Whenever she sees something wrong,
She shouts at it until it's right.
She is old, but yet very strong,
That she does all her work on her own.

She looks very beautiful to me,
With very dark eyes and pink little cheeks,
But the only thing that makes all of us laugh,
Is when she laughs with her only two teeth!
