Revenson builds up healthy lead

BATA-Sunday Times Most Popular School Boy Cricketer of the Year Contest 2010
Nesarajah Revenson of Lyceum International School - Wattala once again rules the roost at the Sunday Times-Bata Most Popular International Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year Contest.

At the end of the tenth count (Coupon No 10) Raihaan Rizvi of Carey College leads the All Island Competition with a healthy 21382 votes and in the Outstation Contest G. Aysh Madushan of Holy Cross Vidyalaya Kalutara leads with 4813 votes. Second comes Nalin Priyadharshana of Sri Piyarathana Vidyalaya, Padukkal, Anjelo Jayasinghe of Maris Stella College Negombo is third with 2154 votes.

As the competition gathers momentum there is healthy rivalry. In the All Island Contest Geshan Wimaladharma of Ananda College has accumulated 3189 votes and Nishal Fonseka of St. Benedict’s has collected 2224 votes.

The contest is very, very hot in the International Schools section. Close on the heels of Nesarajah Revenson of Lyceum International School Wattala is another schoolmate from of Lyceum International School Wattala itself Shaji Rayyan Samman with 4010 votes. Michael Siyaguna of Colombo International is in third place with 3805 votes.
