Revenson takes the lead in International Contest

Once again for the third week running there is a change at the top in the Sunday Times-Bata Most Popular International Schoolboy Cricketer of the year contest.

At the end of count number 8 Nesarajaha Revenson of Lyceum International College, Wattala has pipped his schoolmate Shaji Rayyan Samman by just three votes. At the end of this count Revenson polling 713 votes just managed to pass Samman who finished with 2780 votes polling 711 votes.

In the Allisland Contest, Carey’s Raihaan Rizvi has not taken his foot off the accelerator and has dashed on to a massive 18,777 votes to his credit against his closest rival Geshan Wimaladharma of Ananda College who has accumulated 2952 votes against his name.

In the Outstation Contest, G. Ayesh Madushan of Holy Cross College Kalutara is building upon his lead against Nalin Priyadharshana of Siri Piyarathana MV, Padukka, which was very close at the end of count No 7.
