New director of Alliance Française de Colombo

For the first time in the history of Alliance Française de Colombo, a Sri Lankan has been appointed as its Director.

Kaushalya Dias, the new Directress of the Alliance Francaise de Colombo has studied, lived and travelled in many parts of France and has a wide knowledge and understanding of the French language, culture and its people.

She has wide experience in teaching the French language to Sri Lankan and French students. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Sorbonne (Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris 1) in Paris, a Master’s in International Law from the University of Sorbonne and another Master’s Degree from the University of Versailles.

Alliance Française de Colombo located at 11, Barnes Place, Colombo 7, has been teaching French language in Sri Lanka for the last 50 years.
