Janadhipathi Balika Vidyalaya of Sri Jayawardanapura led by Kavishka Virajani Guruge won the Western Province under 11 hockey championship held at the Colombo University Grounds. This competition was conducted by the Western Province Schools Hockey Association.
The following schools took part in the tournament: Sirimavo BV, Visakha Vidyalaya, Musaeus College and Yasodhara BV. Chammi Wasana Weerakkody was the deputy skipper of the champions Janadhipathi Balika Vidyalaya. The team was coached by A.N. Perera. |
