‘Kelani Palama’ in town

Kelani Palama, one of the most popular theatrical productions of R. R. Samarakoon will go on board at the Elphinstone Theatre, Maradana today, January 31 at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm.

A social criticism set in a lighter tone, the play talks about a set of people living under economical and social difficulties and how the politicians play them out.

The play stars an experienced and veteran cast including Ramya Wanigasekara, Nihal Fernando, Geetha Kanthi Jayakody, Prasannajith Abeysuriya, Thilak Kumara Rathnayake, Prasad Suriyarachchi, Niluka Rekhani, Kamal Jayakody, Tharanga Bandara, Samson Gomez, Samantha Kumara, R. M. Abeynayake, and Madhani Malwatte.
