Talented Club Members

Shashini Peiris, a Grade Four student of St. Nicholas International School, Negombo was a Gold medal winner and All-Island winner for Drama (Duo) and a Gold medal winner and All- Island finalist for Prose Speaking (OC) and Public Speaking (OC) at the Sri Lanka Festival for Music, Dance and Speech 2009.

She was also a prize winner for Speech and Drama – Grade 1 at the examinations conducted by the International Institute of Music, Speech and Drama held in 2009.

 
Bevan David, a student of Elizabeth Moir International School was awarded a certificate for producing a short film titled 'Dharma Rodaya' for the Vesak 2009 – International Buddhist Film Festival.
 
Nethmini Wattetenna, a student of St. Anthony's B.M.V., Kandy was placed third (in the Primary category) in the poster competition held to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Wildlife Conservation Department of Sri Lanka.
 
Club members Kithmini Gooneratne and Shehara De Silva, along with Chaashya Samarkoon, all Grade Three students of Bishop's College, were winners at the Inter House swimming meet held at the College pool recently.
