Millennium Institute hopes to play cricket-Reader forum

The Millennium Institute of Children with Special Needs (MICSN) is looking forward to be given the opportunity to be involved in cricket and exercise programs.

The Institute is a unique school that focuses on enhancing selected skills of children with intellectual disabilities. The school functions on the premise that intellectual impairments merely mean that the person has difficulty learning and not that it is impossible to learn.

The directress of the school is Mrs. Rani Sivakumaran. It was founded in January 2000 and has developed vastly but still needs a lot of help.

The board of directors headed by Chairman Mr. Raghavan has set themselves goals that they are aspiring to achieve and cricket and exercise programs will play a major role.

Those who can help this unique school in any way are requested to contact them at 19 Daya Road, Wellawatte, Colombo 6. Tel: +94 (0)602050616. E-mail: millenniuminstitute@rediffmail.com. Web: www.millenniuminstitute.org
