The award-winning all female choir Soul Sounds will begin the new year with a gospel concert 'Glorious Quest - Oh Happy Day!' on January 16 at the Lionel Wendt Theatre at 7:30 p.m.

The concert conducted by its Principal Guest Conductor Prof. D. Mark Wilson has been an instant hit since its debut in 2008 when he conducted them for the first time in Sri Lanka.

Prof. Mark Wilson is a gospel artist and the Director of the University of California Berkeley Gospel Chorus. Highly impressed by the choir's virtuosity he accepted an invitation by its Musical Director Soundarie David to become its Principal Guest Conductor.
