There have been garden parties, beach parties and even banquets on New Year’s Eve, in the recent past. This time Platform One which has reached the top in a short span of time by organizing some of the best ever parties our island has witnessed, will be hosting Sri Lanka’s first ever Sky Party this New Years Eve!
The party will be held in the top floor of the East tower of the World Trade Centre which will give its guests a breathtaking view of Colombo in all its glory, lit up and ready to dawn the big 2010.
The Indian Ocean bathed in the light of the full moon, the Colombo dock sparkling like stars from the night sky and the entire city illuminated with millions of lights, will be a breathtaking view from the 36th floor of the World Trade Centre.
The interior of the 36th floor will resemble the sky - with the moon and stars adding to the ambiance.
At midnight a special fireworks display will also be organized and thousands of fire works that will be lit from the surrounding hotels can also be seen from this point. This will be followed with breakfast later on during the party.
Platform One has also organized many prizes and surprises which will add more spice to the night. Platform One had previously organized parties such as the Black and White Party, Sinfully Sexy and Red and White Mischief.
