Comedy goes to Negombo

‘Balloth Ekka Be’, political comedy written and directed by Ravindra Ariyarathna would be staged at the Negombo Rukmanidevi Memorial Theatre on 12 Saturday at 3.30 and 6.45 p.m.

Based on a politician and his secretary who are trying to run away after a possible election defeat, the play stars Wijaya Nandasiri, Gihan Fernando, Roshan Pilapitiya, Saman Hemarathna (Leelasena), Kumara Thirimadura and Lewellyn Vanderwall.

With music of Shantha Peiris, stage set designed by Lewellyn Vanderwall and stage management is by Asoka De Zoysa and Shantha Udaya Kumara.

On behalf of Easl J. Lanka Computer School, Sugath Jayasinghe presents the play and Jude Srimal has organised the play.

Tickets are available at Minal Digital Colour Lab and Rukmanidevi Memorial theatre Office.
