OMI golden jubilee to be celebrated in Kandy

The Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) Fraternity in Sri Lanka will celebrate their golden jubilee on December 8. The OMI is a Roman Catholic religious order.

The Most Reverend Father Wilhelm Steckling, OMI, the Oblates’ Superior General (SG), will be the chief guest at the celebrations, to be held in Kandy.

Other special guests will be Reverend Father Clement Ashley Vaidyasekera, OMI, Provincial Superior of the Colombo Oblate Province and present superior of the Ampitiya scholasticate, and Fr. Reginald Lucian, OMI. They will be joined by other priests belonging to the OMI order, lay brothers of the OMI congregation, and well-wishers.
