Subsequent to signing of MoU by Vice Chancellor Peradeniya University linking his Geography Dept. with University of North Dakota's (UND), faculty members of the Dept. of Geography headed by Prof. V. Nandakumar posed with Priyanthi Dissanayake - exclusive representative of UND in Sri Lanka. This is the fifth such linkage initiated by Priyanthi who believes that Lankan universities stand to benefit immensely from such union.
