Geoff Boycott says Afridi best bowling all rounder

Former England captain and opening batsman Geoff Boycott has stated that Shahid Afridi in his opinion is currently the best bowling all rounder in the world when it comes to one day cricket, APP reported.
Interviewed by the UK-based website PakPassion.net, Boycott said: ‘Afridi is fantastic, I love watching him play the game of cricket. He’s great for the game, he’s an entertainer and I think he is currently the best bowling all rounder in the world when it comes to one day cricket.’

Boycott will be part of the Ten Sports commentary team for the one day series between Pakistan and New Zealand that commences on Tuesday in UAE.

Speaking further, he said batsman are okay when blocking Afridi’s bowling but when they try to attack him and try to score runs off him, that is entirely a different matter.

‘There are a lot of batsmen out there who cannot pick his bowling and I think he’s an excellent wrist spinner,’ he said.
