Sevanagala Rally on Nov. 21

The Ceylon Motor Sports Club in connection with the Motor Racing Association will conduct the CMSC-MRA Sevanagala Rally 2009 at the Sevanagala Sugar Plantation premises on November 21 and 22.
The event will comprise of many special stages where drivers and their co-drivers will have to negotiate a previously plotted course to obtain optimum competition timing. There will be about 40 competition vehicles taking part at this event.

The rally will consist of the following classes: SL GT up to 3500 cc; SL H up to 1600 cc; SL A up to 1400 cc; SL A up to 1050 cc; One Make Nissan March; One Make Mini 1000 cc; Trucks & Jeeps up to 3000 cc – Diesel Non-turbo; Trucks & Jeeps Open; Team Entries ( Maximum of 02 cars per team).

Calling past Wesley hockey players

Arrangements have been made to hold a meeting for the development of hockey at Wesley College scheduled to be held on October 30 (Friday) at the College Hall at 6.00 p.m.

The Principal of Wesley and the President of the Hockey Development Council of Wesley requests all past hockey players and present hockey players along with their parents to attend this important meeting to make it a success in order to revive and develop hockey at the school.

Royal-Thomian Hockey
The 10th Annual Royal Thomian Hockey Encounter will be played on Sunday the 25th October 2009 at 4.15pm at Royal College Grounds, Reid Avenue.

S. Thomas’ College Won the first 7 years of the Encounter and in year 2007 Royal College won it for the first time. In year 2008 it was a draw.

The old Boys match will be at 3.00pm.
