The BIT of the University of Colombo School of Computing is a very attractive programme, which consists of 3 academic years with 6 semesters. The BIT further paves the way for the candidates who successfully completed the examination to receive a very high industrial recognition locally or overseas.
MATRIX is very popular for the BIT programme among many university students for the quality and standards of education offered by the Institution, the main reason again being Mr. Viraj Pinto Jayawardena, who may be the only lecturer in Sri Lanka to educate students from the very first BIT intake.

The ACS Professional Examination paves the way for candidates to obtain an industrial recognition and further enables them to obtain a reasonable amount of points for migration to Australia in the field of IT.
