A special-edition coffee table book will be launched soon by IT company Virtusa to showcase the winners of this year's incarnation of "Silver Pixels", its employees only, in-house digital photography competition.
This comes on the heels of an exhibition,held last Thursday to Saturday at the Harold Pieris Gallery, atop the Lionel Wendt Theatre, where the work of over 50 participants was made available for viewing and purchase by the general public.
This three month long competition themed ‘agility and clarity through simplicity' was judged by Dominic Sansoni and Mithra Weerakoon and, according to Ishan Dantanarayana, Virtusa's Senior Director of Human Resources, “[promoted] a healthy passion for pursuing hobbies while discovering talent among staff, helping them to obtain a work life balance”. |
