The Literary Association of D.S. Senanayake College Colombo 7, together with Bishop's College, Ananda College and several other leading schools in the island will present an evening of drama, music and entertainment.
The following dramas are scheduled to be staged at Dramasquerade - Richard Freshman, Romeo and Juliet and Beauty is the Beast.
While Richard Freshman is comedic drama that depicts a typical after-freshman misadventure, Romeo & Juliet, William Shakespear’s ever-popular tragedy that befell the pair of star-crossed lovers will be revived.
Beauty is the Beast, on the other hand is a humorous portrayal of a beautiful but beastie princess.
The line up will also include several other dramas, dances and songs by a few selected invited schools, making Dramasquerade a remarkable event that will indeed enthrall its audience.
Dramasquerade will be staged at the Bishop’s Collage Auditorium on September 10 at 4.30pm. The main sponsor for the event is the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT). |
