Cinema Entertainment Ltd. (CEL), the leading film circuit offers financial facilities for producers at the post-production stage of filmmaking.
Under this project CEL would provide special credit facilities for processing and printing of copies at Prasad Laboratory in India.
“The filmmakers and producers come across financial difficulties specially towards the final stages of the production and we want to be of assistance to them,” CEL Managing Director G. R. Pathmaraj said speaking to the TV Times.
This special facility was started with Prasanna Vithanage’s ‘Akasa Kusum’ which is now running in the CEL circuit cinemas.
“The fund was initiated with the box office success of recently screened films like ‘Uppalawanna’, ‘Dancing Star’ and ‘Ekamath Eka Rateka’ and we have decided to share the self generated fund out of the company,” Mr. Pathmaraj added. |
