AME appreciates the ‘CIMA Prize Winners’ at their Annual Awards Evening - 2009

Academy of Management Education (AME), Mount Lavinia, recently held its second Annual Award Ceremony on August 13 2009 in its Auditorium. The Chief Guest of the event was Mr Indrajith Fernando, the CEO/Director of Bartleet TransCapital Limited. The Guest of Honour was Mr Bradley Emerson, Chief Executive Officer, CIMA Sri Lanka division, and many other CIMA lecturers, students, parents and well wishers attended this event.

The Awards were presented to students who have received the World prize, Sri Lankan prizes and students who have received commendation letters from CIMA U.K. for the subjects of Financial Accounting and Tax Principles (P7) and Financial Analysis (P8) Subjects. These students are among the top ten in the world and regarded by CIMA as a considerable achievement. AME is proud to be the educating partner of them.

Mr M M M Tariq, together with Mr Indrajith Fernando and Mr.Bradley Emerson handed over the Awards to the young winners. Mr M M M Tariq, the Managing Director of AME made the welcome speech and mentioned that the objective of the event is to appreciate the winners and motivate them to excel in their higher studies whilst Mr Indrajith Fernando made a very special and thought provoking address especially in the areas of career development for students.

AME has established its CIMA education since 2001 and has produced World and Sri Lankan Prize Winners, and today, it's a leading Business School for CIMA Education.
