The Ikebana International Sri Lanka Chapter, has invited Christopher Lim, the official designer for Miss Singapore / World and the official floral designer for Queen Elizabeth's visit to Singapore, to Sri Lanka this month. He will conduct a demonstration and workshop, the proceeds of which will be donated to the paediatric ward of the Cancer Hospital, Maharagama.
Mr. Lim is a member of American Institute of Floral Design (AIFD), holding the highest qualification for American Floral Designers.
He is a First Grade Teacher of Sogetsu School of Ikebana from Tokyo, Japan. He also has certification in mastery of floral teaching skills.
The demonstration will be held on August 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bishop's College Auditorium.
The workshop will be held on August 17, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Colombo Swimming Club. |
