Sri Lankan elected President of CNA World in Italy

Indra Perera

Sri Lankan citizen, Indra Perera, was elected President of CNA (Confedarazione Nazionale dell’ Artigianato e della Piccola e Media Impresa) World, a conglomerate of the wider CNA, the Italian Confederation of Small and Medium and Handicraft Companies, with an overwhelming majority on June 30. This is the first time a Sri Lankan was chosen to guide and represent an important Italian institutional organisation.

CNA World brings together foreign entrepreneurs from 70 countries, giving wide representation to all foreign entrepreneurs without any form of discrimination or under-representation. Mr. Perera began the CNA World project by setting up the CNA World Constituent Committee, and was instrumental in boosting the formation of the new institution, which provides legal assistance and a variety of facilities to the foreign entrepreneurs in the city and province of Rome, as well as providing information on the Italian rules and regulations to foreign immigrants residing in the city.
