Explore nature and wild at Sigiriya from ‘Grand Holiday Resort’

Sigiriya is one of the popular travel destinations in Sri Lanka. Apart from the ‘eighth wonder’ of the world, Sigiriya is a significant place in cultural, historical and archeological aspects.

The restaurant serves A’la’carte menus, delicious Western, Eastern, Chinese and Sri Lankan cuisine, prepared by an experienced chef. ‘We are specialized in authentic Sri Lankan cuisine and always prepare according to the choice of the guests. What our guests want is our concern and we always try to satisfy their needs. Also we promote authentic dishes from the area such as fresh water fish, home grown vegetables and village cuisine’ he said.

‘Also we do not have any fixed meal time. Any time is meal time, if a guests wants to have a meal’ he added. Sigiriya Rock, Pidurangal, Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, Minneriya National Wildlife Park, Kaudulla National Park, Ritigala are popular destinations among the visitors to The Grand Tourist Holiday Resort.

‘These are some of the interesting places can be reached within 30 - 45 minutes drive and Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee are within the range of two to three hours drive.

The fullboard rate at the Grand Tourist Holiday Resort ranges from Rs.1900/- per person to Rs. 3500/- per double.
