The British Early Learning School is all set to steer your child through a learning experience of a life time by providing the space to explore the wonders of education.

Situated in a secluded, residential area in the environs of Bataramulla, the newly established Montessori and Pre School was founded with the prime objective of empowering children between the ages of 2 and 5 years with academic knowledge, human values and life skills.

The British Early Learning School has attractive classrooms carefully designed for children and boasts of a large play area, an array of high quality A.M.I Montessori materials and is surrounded by beautiful , bright walls decorated with scenes from your child's favorite nursery rhymes.

The founders Thushari Perera , a fully qualified primary teacher at a leading International school and Anusha Hewage, a specialist in the field of UK education consultation, and Managing Director of WEST 1 International, Premier UK education consultation group have set up the school with the clear intention of enhancing the development of education of children by offering them an appropriate play , education and childcare facilities and activities in a warm and loving environment where a child would feel secure, respect and loved.

Their mission statement stresses that the British Early Learning school's goal is to serve the students to stimulate independent, intellectual and creative growth through the use of appropriate materials with positive guidance and encouragement.

The school's well planned curriculum includes subjects such as practical life, sensorial education, language skills, mathematics, cultural activities, cooking and gardening, music and movement, art and craft and speech and drama and highly qualified directress to deliver this to the students. Each designated corner of the school is designed to promote the child's self development and primarily focuses on fine tuning and instilling positive principals such as love of work, autonomy, respect for himself and others, sensorial capabilities, and self discipline.

The opening ceremony of the British Early Learning School got under way last week and the chief guest of the event was of Mrs. Kalyani De Soyza, Managing Director of Stafford International School and former principal of Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo
