If you are a woman, who loves dressing up for whatever occasion in six yards of cloth then this is for you -the launch of 'Mandhara', a collection of exclusive sarees for the fashion-conscious.
The Mandhara collection ranges from sarees made from various fabrics - pure silks, georgette and silk chiffon. Each is a designer piece; hand-worked to provide a lovely design that is aesthetically fused with the modern trends, colours embellished with a mix of Kundan work, light sequin work, heavy jewel work and intricate embroidery.
The sarees are all designed by Maheshika Lankeshwari Narangoda and will be launched on December 6th and 7th from 10 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thambapani - 496/1, Duplication Road Colombo 3. |
