Man hacked to death in Matale

The body of a man who had been hacked to death was found in Matale last night, police said.

Police Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara said the body was discovered in a plot of land called Akkara Wisipaha opposite the Yatawatta Hospital in Matale.

Matale police is conducting investigations into the incident, he said..
