Colombo stocks slip; bearish trend to continue tomorrow

Colombo stocks saw indexes dropping at Wednesday’s close to bring the market down with stock brokers saying the bearish trend will be seen tomorrow as well.

“It was a dull trading day with only Rs 102 million in turnover,” Thakshila Hulangamuwa, Vice President Asha Phillip Securities said, adding that the same trend will continue tomorrow.

The All Share Index lost 36.41 points to 1,717.52 while the Milanka dropped by 137.8 points to 1,927.44 at stock market close. .
