McCain takes tally to 64 as Obama leads

Republican candidate John McCain won Georgia, taking his electoral college tally to 64, but his rival Barack Obama is well ahead of him with 174 seats.

Analysts say Georgia has always been a long shot for Democrats.

McCain won the state winning 61 percent of the votes.
