Sixty injured in Aranayaka bus accident

At least 60 people were injured when a bus plying between Aranayaka and Mawanella went of the road at Kalwana around 7.25 in the morning today.

The bus had skidded off the road and toppled into a paddy field, Police said

Many of the injured are being treated at the Aranayaka Hospital while 15 were transferred to the Kegalle Hospital. Six are reported to be in serious condition.

Among the injured are the driver and the conductor of the bus. .
