Train and Navy truck collide in Boossa

A train bound to Aluthgama from Galle collided with a Navy truck in Pinthali Junction, Boossa today, Police Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara said.

Four Navy personnel who were inside the truck were injured in the accident that occured at 2.30 this afternoon. The engine driver, and a teacher on board the train had also been injured, he said.

Ratgama Police is investigating the incident, he added. .
