Over 75,000 displaced by floods and landslides

Over 75,000 people have been affected by the flood and landslides in several parts of the country, the Disaster Management Relief Centre said.

The districts affected have been Gampaha, Kalutara, Colombo, Matara and Puttalam.

The Gampaha district worst affected with 48,000 persons being displaced. The AGA divisions affected were Ja-Ela, Attanagalla, Wattala, Negombo, Gampaha, Katana and Minuwangoda.
