MS. Charles new Govt Agent for Vavuniya

Ms. P.S.N.Charles assumed duties as the Government Agent for Vavuniya today. She is the first woman GA to be appointed for the post in Vavuniya.
Ms. Charles, 47 joined the Sri Lanka Administrative Service in 1991 and was first appointed to the North Central province as n Assistant Secretary.
Thereafter she held the positions of Assistant Government Agent, Divisional Secretary, Additional GA.
She was educated at Holy Family Convent, Illavali. She obtained her BA at the Jaffna University, the MSc at the Peradeniya university and also followed her higher studies in Italy. |
