Mendis untroubled by the big stage
Sri Lanka’s new bowling discovery Ajantha Mendis said yesterday that playing against India in today’s Asia Cup cricket final was no big deal and would not put himself under undue pressure in the championship’s deciding game here in Karachi.

Yes, the Lankan cricketers may have hit a purple patch in their Asia Cup exploits by entering the final for the ninth consecutive time, thus keeping their unique record intact. However very ironically, the happenings behind the curtain keep hitting an all time low.
