‘Sing- a-long’ for charity

X'Periments

One of the most popular avenues of relaxation has been identified as when friends and family get together to unwind and that too with the kind of music that has them engulfed with glee. On Saturday, April 26 at 7.30 pm, Sohan and the X'Periments will strike up the band with gusto following the trail blazer by the man who knows exactly how to get his audience motivated, the evergreen Compere, Vijaya Corea.

'Sing-A-Long' Concert organised by Denipitiya Medical Mission will come alive at the Banquet Hall of the BMICH. The happiness will fill the air and spread across the night as Golden Oldies that constitute perennial favourites of yester-year will be on the lips of all those who will be privileged to 'Sing-A-Long' at the concert. It will indeed be a fun-filled evening as the best singing table wins a valuable prize. Indeed, those who set themselves to enjoy the goodness of the evening would also simultaneously have done a good turn, as the proceeds from the sale of tickets will go in its entirety to sustain the work of social responsibility performed by the Denipitiya Medical Mission. Denipitiya Medical Mission was founded in 1918 and is a Government approved charity registered with the Department of Social Services.

This 'Sing-A-Long Concert' has been uniquely designed to keep the audience enthralled from beginning to end. The cost of the ticket cum song book is just Rs.500/= and can be obtained from 'Lakpahana' 14. Reid Avenue, Colombo 7.

This would be a wonderful opportunity to open up a package of joy for one's self and for others. Bank of Ceylon is the principal sponsor of this 'Sing-A-Long' Concert organised by Denipitiya Medical Mission.
