Jaffna Central prevail

Jaffna Central College won the 102nd Battle of North by innings and 133 runs on Friday beating arch rivals St. John’s College inside two days after 38 years.

Central College won the toss and put St. John’s into bat and they were bundled out for 64 runs in 34 overs. In reply, Central College scored 301/8 declared. St. John’s College were all out for 104 in their second innings.
