Corporate Social Irresponsibility! - letter

I am very surprised and angry that a leading consumer products company is showing little respect to gullible consumers when advertising a popular brand of soap on TV. I would even go as far to say that the advertisement could lead to a very serious health issue on which others are spending lots of money and voluntary time to eradicate.

Two young boys see an abandoned pup on the street and one decides to bring it home. His mother pays little heed to the concerns raised by another mother and promptly sends her boy off to bathe himself and the pup using the soap claiming that all germs have been eradicated. Now, please, this is NOT the case.

Hasn't this company seen the statistics of deaths caused by RABIES! Aren't they aware of the campaigns going on by the government and other voluntary organisations to eradicate the dreaded disease which KILLS!?

I hope this letter gets the attention of someone responsible in the company, a government health official or the Consumer Protection Agency. COMMON SENSE is so lacking in this country, and we should not allow these multinationals to think they can exploit this situation to make profits. Call it what YOU want, I call it Corporate Social Irresponsibility!
