Inventors and Innovators exhibition in July

The Sri Lanka Inventors Commission that comes under the purview of the Enterprise Development and Promotion Ministry has decided to hold an exhibition of School Invention and Innovations on June 4, 5 and 6 in the Northern Province and on July 3 and 4 in the Eastern Province.

Ms P. Srigeetha, North-East Co-ordinator for the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission said awareness programmes are being organized in Jaffna and Batticaloa. The awareness programme in the Batticaloa district is to be held on February 19 at Batticaloa Mahajana College with the participation of school principals, teachers of 1 AB, 1C and type 2 schools, teachers in charge of Young Inventors Clubs and student representatives.

The Eastern Province Zonal Co-ordinators Meeting is to be held at Trincomalee St. Mary's College on February 18. Ms Srigeetha added that awareness programme in the Jaffna district are to be held on February 25 at Jaffna Vembadi Girls College, while programmes for the education zones of Valikamam, the Islets and Jaffna will be held on February 26 at Nelliyadi Madhya Maha Vidiyalayam.

The programme for the education zones of Thenmaradchchi and Vadamaradchchi are to be held on February 27 at the Jaffna University.
