C & C adds new faces to lineup

‘Chandani with C & C’ is a popular band featuring Chandani Hettiarachchi and Chaminda Hemaratne. 'Chandani with C & C' have been performing at most star class hotels in Colombo and at the present the band is on contract at Cinnamon Grand and at the Hilton, where they have proved to be a great success.

Besides playing lobby music at hotels, they play outside functions such as weddings, dances, cocktail parties, socials and corporate functions. 'We cater to audience requirements and according to their tastes. Our repertoire ranges from popular English hits, current chart toppers, to golden oldies, Sinhala, Hindi and to baila' said Chandani.

This makes most of the functions we get annually and some tours overseas. They have had several stints abroad especially in the Middle East and Europe. To add to all this successes, they have recently included a versatile musician into the group namely Ann Nathan.

Ann who needs no introduction to the music world, has years of experience behind her. The Band 'C & C' has just completed a very successful season last December, performing at some of the top dances and gigs including New Years Eve at. the III Ponte, Colombo Hilton.

According to Chandani, they make frequent visits to Bahrain. The last one was for their annual dinner dance organized by Sri Lanka Club Bahrain, which turned out to be a great success. Chandani's taking this opportunity of thanking their regular sponsors who have supported them.
