Intel’s new modular server building block products

Intel Corporation recently launched its first set of modular server building block products that supports a server specification announced last July by the Server Systems Infrastructure (SSI) organization.

In using these modular server building blocks, based on Intel|6 Multi-Flex Technology (a set of management and storage technologies developed to enable ease of use, low-cost and flexibility), system builders can uniquely integrate computing, networking and storage capabilities in one system for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), and their needs for budget-friendly IT simplicity and flexibility.

“The Intel Multi-Flex Technology is a breakthrough in providing a variety of building blocks to system builders, this makes it an extremely valuable product for Sri Lanka since it will be of great benefit to small and medium businesses,” said Indika De Zoysa, Regional Sales Manager for Intel in Sri Lanka “Small and medium businesses constitute a large part of the market and we are delighted to launch this product locally and feel that it will go a long way to fulfilling our aim of providing the latest and best technology to the local community.”
