St. Mary’s centenary celebrations

St. Mary's Convent, Matara which celebrated its century this year held the annual general meeting of the Past Pupils' Association (Colombo branch) recently at St. Mary's Parish Hall, Dehiwela.

The following were appointed office bearers: Patron - Sr. Dominca Swamipillai, President - Therese Perera, Vice President - Padmini de Silva, Secretary -- Thamari Hewawasam, Assistant Secretary - Mary Dickman, Treasurer - Sonalie Karunaratne, Assistant Treasurer - Priyanthi Gunawardena and Committee members - Anoma de Silva, Chandrika Amerasinghe, Imelda Dissanayake, Mallika Wickremasinghe, Sumaiya Fahim, Hyacinth Navaratnem, Nanda Weerasinghe, Myrna Jayamanne and Dilini Kankanamge.
