Filmmaking education by NFC

Applications have been called for the Diploma Course in Filmmaking- 2008 conducted by the National Film Corporation (NFC). The one year course will cover different areas in filmmaking including screenplay writing, direction, cinematography, editing and theory and criticism on cinemas.

The applicants should possess Advanced Level educational qualifications and selection will be on the results of a competitive examination and viva voce. Diplomas will be awarded on successful completion of the course. At the end of the course diploma certificates would be provided.

The applications should be collected before December 31 at the Cinema Cultural Office, National Film Corporation, No 303, Bullers lane, Colombo-7 and must be handed over before January 31, 2008. For further information contact 2585721.
