New Institute in Professional Development

The Knowledge Agent Private Ltd, a new education and training institute recently launched a professional learning centre “The Institute of leadership and Management Studies Pvt Ltd” which will present diploma programmes not offered so far in Sri Lanka.

The three programmes will be on a Diploma in Industrial relations and labour Law, Diploma in Event Management and Diploma in Executive Development. A panel of prominent and eminent labour consultants consisting of G. Weerakoon, former Commissioner General of Labour and Neville Joseph, Advocate, will be the Course Consultants of the Diploma in Labour Management while Prasanna Perera MBA, PGDip (Finance), Chartered Marketer, will be the Course Director of the other two Diplomas. The objective of introducing these new programs, the Managing Director of the Institute Saroja Weeratunga said, is to equip young managers with the necessary knowledge and skills to make them confident and facilitate their decision making to bring in more productivity and also to feed information to knowledge seekers in labour management.
