Chinese food at Galadari
The annual World Spice Food Festival organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority has been a tremendous success in the past years.
A highlight of the main event was the 'Hawker Street' style festival held on October 19 and 20 at the Nomads Grounds, allowing all guests to walk through the food stalls with live music playing in the back ground. The Galadari Hotel will participate by offering Chinese Food prepared by Chef Yee Kar Hong from Kuala Lumpur who was specially flown in to Sri Lanka.
The Food, prepared by Chef Yee for the Hawker Street Stall and the Chinese Food Promotion which will be held at the Coffee Shop of the Galadari Hotel from October 21 to 27.
The Dinner buffet will consist of many starters, soups, main dishes and desserts.
Sour and spicy Sliced chicken, lamb soup with spices,' Chinese Style' chicken, seafood fried rice with butter and golden garlic, stir friend prawns with butter cream and curry sauce, deep fried crab with salt and five spices, pineapple and shrimps, fried rice with curry powder are some of the top favourites.
