12th Annual ICASL Tax Oration

The 12th annual tax oration organised by the faculty of taxation of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka will take place on October 26.

The topic “Tax Reforms, Simplification and Service Delivery Initiatives:with a South Asian perspective” will be delivered by Dr Veerinderjeet Singh President/ Malaysian Institute of Taxation (MIT) and Chairman of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) Malaysian Branch at the ICASL auditorium.

Dr Singh is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) the Malaysian Institute of Taxation (MIT) as well as CPA Australia. He has been a visiting Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle in the New South Wales, Australia, and a visiting scholar at the International Tax Program Harvard University USA.

The ICASL tax oration has become a much looked forward item among tax practitioners, lawyers and students of taxation.
