ICRC continues with its mission

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has transported bodies of 13 combatants during the past one and half months and also facilitated restoration and maintenance of links between members of families separated by the conflict as part of its humanitarian actives in Sri Lanka.ICRC delegates also visited persons arrested on security grounds with its delegates carrying out 35 detention visits and held private interviews with 585 detainees, the ICRC said.
