Senior advocate’s picture unveiled

The unveiled picture

A photograph of the late senior advocate Dayawansa Udalagama was unveiled at a ceremony at the law library in the Kegalle Court premises. The Kegalle Bar Association president A.L.M Hasheem welcomed the chief guest, former Supreme Court Judge Nissanka Udalagama.

Speaking at the ceremony, the former judge said the service rendered by Dayawansa Bandara Udalagama would never be forgotten by the people of Kegalle.

Kegalle High Court Judge S.M.S. Samarakoon, District Court Judge W. Nambuwasam, other judges and advocates were present at the ceremony. Daya Udalagama had been in service from 1962 to 2005 in district courts in Kegalle, Kurunegala, Kandy and Kuliyapitiya.
