Fresh Look and new menu at AGH’s ‘Golden Dragon’

The 'Golden Dragon' Chinese specialty restaurant of the Taj Airport Garden Hotel re-opened its doors recently to its patrons and connoisseurs of fine dining, with a fresh new took and a fresh menu.

Commencing last week, the Golden Dragon has taken on an exciting new range of flavours, tastes and combinations in its new menu. The restaurant also wears a more alluring and classy look in its warm ambience and striking decor. The bright splashes of colour on select surfaces, new lamp shades and striking artefacts add more character and depth to the overall look and feel of the restaurant.

Crisp new linen on the tables and brand new upholstery, yet again with new touches of colour, enhance the layout of the covers. The roof of the busy open kitchen too has taken on a new colour, enhancing the overall ambiance and effect as one walks in, to gulp in lungs-full of enticing aromas wafting in the air.

The transformation of the Golden Dragon Chinese specialty restaurant, with its tasteful and welcoming warm ambience is coupled with the launch of a brand New Menu, worthy of its name.

Chinese cuisine at the Golden Dragon Restaurant will never be the same again, as Chinese Master Chef conjures a tantalizing array of culinary delights, appealing to the varied palates and gourmet desires of its expanding Sri Lankan and expatriate clientele. The array which boasts of the very best of Chinese cuisine is guaranteed to make guests and patrons keep coming back for more.

The new menu features such Chinese gourmet wonders as 'Wok Fried Lobster and Mushroom in Garlic Butter', 'Deep Fried Crab laced with Black Pepper', 'Sizzling Prawns in Chillie Tomato Sauce', 'Crispy Whole Garoupa with Szechwan Sauce' and 'Fried Fish Dollop with Dry Chillie', while 'Spinach, Babycorn and Black Mushrooms with Ginger Soya Sauce' is fast becoming a much sought after dish by vegetarians.
