Akila gives Airmen the edge

Left arm leggie Akila Isanka bagged 7 for 36 which was his third seven wicket haul this season to give Air Force the edge over Singha SC at the end of the second day’s play in their Under 23 Division Two semi final encounter played at Police Park. Air Force taking first lease of the wicket scored 226 and then bundled out their opponents for 113. The Airmen batting the second time were 58 for 3. The match will be continued today at 10.00 a.m.

Lankan CC on top

Lankan CC were on top against Kandy CC in the second semi final of the same tournament played at Kadirana. Lankan CC batting first made 246 with Raju Gayashan making 52 and then had Kandy CC struggling on 41 for 4.
