Mobitel enhances business relationship with Air Force

Mobitel is providing a ‘total mobile solutions’ with extensive coverage to the Sri Lanka Air Force as part of its long-term national endeavour, the company said.

Air Marshal Roshan Goonetileke, Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force speaking on the agreement with Mobitel said: “This is a very extensive package which has not been equalled by any other company.

As servicemen, this type of package is a necessity, as it will help us to spend very little, while having more airtime over the telephone. We have received additional lines as well, which will service 50% of the Sri Lanka Air Force’s strength.”

The Sri Lanka Air Force has been a valued customer with the company since 2004 and through this agreement they have in essence tripled their volume of business with Mobitel, the company statement added.
