Evening of fashion and music

“Variety in Vogue" an evening of entertainment with a purpose, has been organized by the Lion Ladies of District 306A1 to raise funds for the Camilla School, Mattegoda and other humanitarian projects.

The Camilla Home, is a special home created by the Lions Movement in Sri Lanka to provide shelter for over 50 mentally and physically handicapped children.

The evening of fashion, music and dance will be held on September 23 at 5.30 p.m at the Galadari Hotel’s Grand Balloom.

The fashion show is choreographed by veteran designer Geraldine Bandaranayake and will feature casual and evening wear by Ruchira Silva of Rebel, while Sona Mandir will display ethnic-wear comprising sarees and salwars. Ray Bans, Kollupitiya will provide sunglasses to be worn by the models on the ramp.

There will also be Latin American dances by LA-Latino. Popular vocalists Mariazelle Gunatilake and Gloria will entertain the audience.

Tickets priced at Rs. 1000 will be available at Rebel (Crescat Boulevard and Majestic City) and at Sona Mandir (Sinsapa Road, Orchid Complex opposite Savoy Theatre, Colombo 6).
